Director Lily Whitsitt (NYC) will develop This Is the Color Described By the Time, adapted from one of Gertrude Stein’s early “conversation” plays, using the language and experience of radio plays to investigate Stein’s non-narrative text.

Lily Whitsitt
Lily Whitsitt is founding director of Door 10 performance group and a director and producer of theater and film. Her work has been presented at Here Arts Center, Jack, NYU, Wesleyan University, California Institute of the Arts, and site-specific locations, including a medium security prison with the non-profit organization Rehabilitation Through the Arts.
