Poets House hosts Maria Hassabi, Paolo Javier, and Kaneza Schaal—artists working in dance, poetry, and theater respectively and each of whom also blurs lines between disciplines in varying ways—in conversation about the role of and relationship between word, image, and movement across disciplines. The evening is held in conjunction with the site-based presentation of Hassabi’s dance performance PREMIERE at Bowling Green, part of LMCC's River to River Festival.

This event is part of an ongoing partnership among Baryshnikov Arts Center, LMCC and Poets House. Bringing together poets and other artists of varying disciplines, we aim to ignite a dialogue through which interconnectivity across practices will be revealed, and potential collaborations may emerge.
