Howard Gilman Performance Space

The Howard Gilman Performance Space is an open stage performance venue with optional raked seating risers and a flat floor stage. 

The stage is 42’ wide by 43’ deep. The ceiling height is 17’7” and the grid height is 15’4”. The raked seating system accommodates 136 audience members. The Howard Gilman Performance Space encompasses the 4th floor of BAC, including a lobby, two public restrooms equipped with locker rooms, and a small pantry.

The Howard Gilman Performance Space is named in honor of Howard Gilman, a philanthropist and long-time friend and supporter of Mikhail Baryshnikov. The Howard Gilman Performance Space was dedicated in November 2006.  Lead support for the theater was provided by The Howard Gilman Foundation.
